Big News!

My official announcement to the public.

I am SO excited to announce my debut novel series, purchased by Mad Cat Publishing, will be released in 2026. The negotiation process has taken a hot minute–mostly because of me because I wanted to make sure I got it right. But I’m very excited to be working with both Lindsay Flanagan and Riley Bess.

This has been a really long process. Decades, actually. And this is not the first book I’ve written. This series is actually books 4, 5, and 6 that I’ve finished. Not to mention probably hundreds of short stories. There have been a few ups and a lot of downs during that time and process. But this last year has really shown me that there is a tipping point in a writing career when those ratios swap places. (That sounds like a future post or newsletter topic…)

Even the very pitching-querying-offering-signing process has been almost a year to the day. I pitched to Roan and Weatherford last year at the Superstars Writing Seminar; I’m going to the next one in less than a week.

But I kept plugging along over the years (with a lot of help and encouragement from friends), and here I am. With a book deal!

And this is a story I’m really excited to share with the world.
