H.T. Ashmead has always loved stories. She was lucky to grow up in a home with a library that included a legitimate suit of armor on display. (She named him George when she was young.) Despite her passion for reading, she didn’t consider writing her own stories until she pursued a teaching degree after deciding veterinary school would take too long.
Now she teaches by day, writes by afternoon, and sleeps by night. Oh, and she’s a wife and mother 25 hours per day. (Yes, you read that correctly.)
When not involved in the above-mentioned activities, H.T. rejuvenates by gardening (especially in her rose garden), hiking, video gaming, reading, and doing yoga. Notice: most of those are solitary activities because people exhaust her.
Oh, and if you hadn’t already realized it, she loves everything purple. The richer and darker, the better.
